Advantage Life Products announces Jose Eber Secret Hair Line to debut on QVC

IRVINE, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE) Jan. 19, 1995 Advantage Life Products Inc. (NASDAQ:ADVT) Thursday announced that its Jose Eber Secret Hair(tm) product line will make its debut on QVC Feb. 1, 1995.

Secret Hair, a high quality, hand made line of hair extension and enhancement products, is currently sold via a thirty minute infomercial in conjunction with Guthy Renker Corp., a leader in the infomercial industry and is also available through more than 1200 beauty salons across the country.

Jose Eber will personally introduce and demonstrate Secret Hair on QVC with a guest appearance Feb. 1. Based on successful sales results, Advantage expects Eber to make additional appearances in the future.

QVC is the world’s largest television retailer, marketing a
hair vendors wholesale wide variety of products directly to consumers in the United States. QVC sells products each week into 50 million American homes and an additional 17 million homes through joint ventures in Mexico and the United Kingdom.

The QVC/Secret Hair arrangement calls for QVC to exclusively sell Jose Eber Secret Hair extension products in exchange
wholesale wigs for a royalty on certain domestic beauty salon revenues.
